Roaring Campfires, Overnight Trips & Outdoor Adventure
The CLC outdoor adventure program encourages campers to step out of their comfort zone. Our Zip Line, Flying Squirrel, Climbing Wall, High Ropes Course, Vertical Playpen, Archery, Mountain Biking and Nature & Science Center offer campers the opportunity to try something new and feel that overwhelming sense of accomplishment as they reach new heights.
Overnight and extended trips enhance an already dynamic program as we add an element of travel to our campers' summer. Younger campers spend a day hiking at Bushkill Falls, also known as the Niagara of Pennsylvania. That night, they camp out under the stars in our very own campsite, complete with 30' teepee! Our 5th - 7th grade campers spend one day at Dorney Park and another day rafting on the Delaware River. Beginning in 8th grade, campers extend their journeys by taking part in 3-4 day excursions to exciting locations including Hershey Park, Lake George, Niagara Falls, Boston, Lake Placid and Toronto. Our trip program culminates with our 11th graders going on our East Coast College Adventure, where they tour three colleges, and our 10-day Western Adventure trip. The Western Adventure trip is truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip that includes rafting on the Colorado River through Canyon Lands National Park and expeditions to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park.
