Chestnut Lake is Built for First-Timers

Every camper and staff member was new at camp at some point, and at CLC we work hard to make sure that whenever that time comes (whether as a 3rd-grader or an 8th-grader, or even as a new member of our staff) we do everything we can to help each person transition smoothly into the warm embrace of our community.

We succeed because we are intentional and create many different opportunities for new friendships, we orient new campers and staff to our unique culture and routine, we focus on each new experience as a chance to unlock more of what makes CLC special, and our entire camp family celebrates the start to each new summer.

Begin with requesting information, make time to allow our leaders to share, and allow us to guide you towards the beginning of one of the greatest experiences you’ll ever have.
