Our campers have an insatiable desire to explore and develop their skills in creative arts, fine arts, digital arts, culinary arts, theater arts and much more, and the incredible CLC facilities and program provide them with the opportunity to thrive.


The Arts facilities at Chestnut Lake include the 4,500-square-foot Creativity Center ("Create It" building), the state-of-the-art “Record It” building, new Great Lawn space for performance, and the indoor Drama Center facility. The activities in these areas are some of our most popular, including Arts & Crafts, sewing, culinary (huge teaching kitchen) with a complimentary vegetable/herb garden, woodshop, ceramics, tie-dye, drama, dance, video production, digital photography, STEM (with options such as robotics), rock band studio and music recording, pod-casting, and more.


We are thrilled to add arts activities to our Specialty Camp and Academy programming as well, including amazing day-long Camps in dance and musical theater (these may change every summer). For those that love to be on stage, we also welcome every camper interested to be in our Camp Show (produced in both our 4-week and 3-week sessions) that has our entire community present to enjoy an evening of musical theater.
